The West Point Nielsen Community Center
is a state of the art events center. At Horizon Inn & Suites we support
our local community by working together to promote the West Point area business.
We strive to coordinate our events to accommodate travelers and guests.
Since our opening, we have welcomed over 200 weddings.
We know that
each wedding is unique.
Therefore we prefer to speak personally with you to
tailor your Group Block to your event. Please call us to discuss your
block.
Group Room
Blocks
To create a Group Room Block -
Please call us at 1-402-372-1959 or stop in and visit!
Group Room Blocks holds any number of
rooms,
you determine, on the day/dates of your event.
The blocks are in
place until 4 OR 6 weeks prior to the event.
The release dates vary
depending on the season.
If your guests have not made their reservations
before the release date,
the remaining rooms are
then released.
To make a reservation in a Group Room Block -
Any member of your group simply needs to call or email us
with the name of
your event (Smith/Meier Wedding June 2013).
At the time the
reservation is made,
we require a credit card to guarantee the room.
Weddings
The perfect ending to a perfect
day.
Be sure to reserve a block of rooms for your traveling
guests
and wedding party members. Also, be sure to book
a
Jacuzzi Suite for your first night
together.
With five or more rooms rented by your guests,
you have a
complimentary use of
our Meeting Room
during your wedding weekend. This is
a perfect place
to open gifts or have a rehearsal
dinner.
If you would like to use this room to serve
a meal,
there is a $50 fee for the kitchen.
